Expert help in difficult times

With the uncertainty COVID-19 has caused, many customers want to know their finance options. Getting in touch with your mortgage broker is a good first step as they can guide you through your repayment and funding options.

What help can I ask for?

Lenders regularly update brokers, so they know the options available and the best way to access them. They can also help equip you with questions to ask when you speak with your lender, so you can be sure you’re getting the right support.

Available help will vary between lenders. There may be an option to defer payments or switch to interest-only repayments for a period to take some pressure off. Your eligibility will depend on your situation.

Plan for the future

Cash flow management has now become top of mind for many people.

A mortgage broker can review your situation and find ways to free-up cash flow, which might include consolidating debts with a personal loan or tapping into the equity in your home.

Help at a healthy distance

While in-person meetings are not currently an option, brokers continue to support customers via phone, video call and email. If you don’t know where to turn for help with your finances during this uncertain time, contact a Mike Pero Mortgage Adviser today.
